Coir fibre, a natural, sustainable, and versatile material extracted from the husk of coconuts, is categorized into two main types based on the maturity of the coconut: white (or immature) coir and brown (or mature) coir.
Coir geotextiles are natural, biodegradable mats from coconut fiber known for erosion control, soil stabilization, and promoting vegetation.
Coir grow bags are eco-friendly, biodegradable containers made from coconut husk fiber, known for excellent water retention and aeration, promoting strong root growth by balancing moisture and oxygen, reducing watering/fertilizer needs, being lightweight for easy handling.
Coir pith blocks are eco-friendly growing media known for high water retention, holding 6-8 times their weight in water, excellent aeration, and slow degradation due to lignin, providing durable, lightweight soil conditioning for plants in horticulture, greenhouses, and hydroponics, with a neutral pH (5.5-6.8).
Coir tufted mats feature durable, natural coconut fibers for powerful dirt/moisture trapping, bonded to a non-slip PVC/latex backing for stability and low fiber shedding, offering eco-friendly, heavy-duty floor protection with customizable designs for high-traffic indoor/covered outdoor areas.
Coir two-ply yarn is known for being strong, durable, and eco-friendly, made from natural coconut fibers, offering good water resistance, high absorbency, affordability, and versatility for uses from landscaping (erosion control, plant support) to crafting (mats, ropes, baskets).
